What are the main immigrant issues America faces today? Do today’s immigrants get a warmer or cooler welcome than the Irish and Germans of the 1840s and 1850s? What accounts for this?

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Some of the main immigrant issues that the country faces today are the language barriers, the lack of employment opportunities, proper housing, proper access to medical services, transportation issues, cultural differences, prejudice, and the list goes on. I think that immigrants today get a cooler welcome than the Irish and Germans of the 1840s and 1850s because those times were simpler times in which immigrants did not have to wait in obscenely long time in order to get immigration and they had more opportunities and had a better system in which they could improve upon their lives.
