A tree that is 100 feet tall casts a shadow that is 150 feet long. Determine the angle at which the rays of the sun hit the ground, to the nearest degree.

You should first of all draw a picture of the situation and label the vertical and horizontal parts of the triangle and the unknown angle theta. To determine the value of the angle, you are going to take the inverse tangent of 100/150. You should get an answer of 34°
