Which type of head injury is the result of torn blood vessels (veins) that bridge dura mater and brain and may result in a loss of consciousness, dilation of one pupil, headache, dizziness, nausea or sleepiness?

The type of head injury that was described would be the subdural hematoma. In addition, this injury is defined by emedicine.com as "a collection of blood below the inner layer of the dura but external to the brain and arachnoid membrane." The injury would most likely lead to nausea and dizziness.
