In the fast change, how are other parts of the ecosystem affected by Hurricane Katrina?

Hurricane Katrina caused oil spills which spilt out into the water harming a lot of animals. The storm caused a lot of erosion in most area that already had a bit of erosion. The gulf water killed a lot of vegetation in fresh water wetlands
