2 is the Greatest Common Factor of 8 and 10
Because 2 x 2 x 2 = 8 and 2 x 5 = 10 .

The least common factor of 8 and 10 is two, since 2*4 is 8 and 2*5 is ten
The greatest common multiple (GCM) of 8 and 10 is 40, since 8*5 is 40 and 10*4 is 40
