An old adage says: "No two are the same" but, under the law, everyone should be treated the same.
The phrase that is stated above means: There should be equality and equity under the law. This means, everybody should be treated the same way regardless of ability, race, creed, gender, sexual orientation because everyone must enjoy his fundamental rights.
