The average adult (150 to 180 lbs) has 1.2 to 1.5 gallons of blood.

The average child (80 lbs) has half the amount of blood (.6 to .75 gal) as an adult.

The average adult has about 1.2 to 1.5 gallons of blood. So less than 5 gallons.
