The Golgi complex is the organelle found in eukaryotic cells. Its function is the packaging of the proteins into vesicles inside the cell. Those vesicles are then sent to their destination. It receives proteins synthesised in the ER. They are then modified and prepared for their destination - either to be secreted or to be used in the cell. Apart from this function, it contains glycosylation enzymes that attach sugar to proteins.
