#1) Which waterways are considered important for trade in southwest asia?
Answer: Western Asia is located directly south of Eastern Europe. The region is surrounded by seven major seas; the Aegean Sea, the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea. And the rivers Euphrates River, Tigris River, Suez Canal, and the Jordan River. The rivers of Southwest Asia (the Middle East) are important because much of this region of the world is dry and desert or semi-desert.
