What organisms can live where nothing else lives?

Best Answer: There are many organisms that live in areas where others can't. There are bacteria called theromphilus that live on undersea volcanic vents. They can survive in temperatures up into the thousands. There are extreme halophiles that live in the salty seas like the dead sea and the great salt lake. There are also acidophiles that can live in extremely acidic conditions. Viruses also can live in many places where other organisms can't (although some might argue that they aren't really alive).
