Well, a normal environmental lapse rate is 6°C per 1000m, so it should be simple proportion.
The temperature needs to drop by 16°, so:
16/6 × 1000 = 2,666.66
So the answer is APPROXIMATELY 2700m (Assuming that the surface is at 0m)
