In △ABC , m∠B=48° and m∠C=22° . In △DEF , m∠D=48° and m∠F=25° .

Which statement about the triangles is true?

Answer:

Option B) △ABC is not similar to △DEF

Explanation:

There are two triangles given ABC and DEF.

GIven that angle B =48 and C =22.

The third angle A = 180-(48+22) = 110

In second triangle angle D = 48 and angle F =25

The third angle = 180-(48+25)

=107

On comparing the angles of both triangles, we find that only one angle is congruent and other two are different

So these two triangles cannot be similar as for similarity all angles should be congruent.

So answer is

Option B) △ABC is not similar to △DEF .
