Depression feeds off negative thinking patterns and pessimism can suck you back ... Positive psychology, aka the science of happiness. Positive psychology principles and ideas can be applied to a wide range of spheres, including schools, relationships, the workplace, the family . They would talk about it in a way that would not make people feel bad or worse about things that are happening in their lives.

Hope that helps!
