Greg made 9 gallons of chili for a chili dinner. Each bowl can hold 2 full ladles of chili. A full ladle holds 10 ounces. What is the greatest number of bowls Greg can fill with Chili? Please show work.

A. 57
B. 58
C. 115

The answer is A
There are 128 ounces in a gallon.
So multiply that by 9 to get 1152 ounces in 9 gallons.
Divide that by ten because each ladle is 10 ounces.
Divide that by 2 since there are two ladle scoops in each bowl.
You get 57.6 which you can't have a .6 bowl so it is just 57
