The fountain area = The total area of the fountain - the statue area.

The total area of the fountain = π * 8² = 200.96m²

The statue area = π * 1² = 3.14m²

The fountain area = 200.96 - 3.14 = 197.82m²

Good luck.

The area of the fountain would be 200.96 meters squared.
The formula for finding the area of a circle is:
Area=
\pi * Radius^2
Therefore, you would multiply 8 (The radius) by itself to get 64. Then, you would multiply 64 by pi (approximately 3.14) to get 200.96.
