find the area of the following figure 5.9, 4.6, and 16.3 and it's a polygon with 4 sides that are not equal.

The formula for a trapezoid is
A=(a+b/2)*h, where a is the top length, b is the base, and h is the height

The area is really 51.06. My bad :P

I solved it by.......

1. Solving for the triangle. ( subtract 16.3 and 5.9 to find the length of the triangle thennnn multiply the height and the length of the triangle then one you get that, multiply it by 0.5.

2. Solve for the rest. Draw a line to make a square like the dotted line. then multiply 4.6 and 5.9.

3. Add the products. Add the product from the square and the triangle. The you get 51.06.
