The Canadian West Coast is where most of Canada's commercial timber production. Mostly, the primary source of timber in the region would be from the coniferous trees wherein these trees are furthermore processed in the British Columbia. It was estimated that the timber industry has contributed 19.8 billion dollars to the Canadian economy.
