The answer is, b The townspeople threw objects at the soldiers.

It was an incident that happened in King Street Boston. An apprentice tried to ask a soldier for his payment, the discussion intensified when he was hit by the soldier and the townspeople began to gather around the boy after he got attacked. People threw objects and attacked the soldiers which made the soldiers fire their arms.
