3. the answer would be since the perimeter is 12 you know the sides are 4 in because 12 / 3 = 4 so 4 x 4 / 2 = 8 so the answer to number 3 is 8.

Number 3:
Multiply 12x3. There are 3 sides and each side is twelve inches. After you multiply it, simplify.
