Gene pools and allele frequencies are components of population genetics. They both have an input of alleles in a population. The gene pool is part of a formula to determine the gene frequency. Although, gene pool and allele frequencies have comparisons, there are some contrast. Allele frequency is how common does a gene appear in a population and gene pool describes all copies of alleles in population. Allele frequency is referenced as alleles showing up often and gene pool is alleles showing up at any time.
