first you have to figure out what 1/4 of a foot is, which is 3 inches. Then you have to convert 5 feet into inches, which is 60 inches. Then, you do 60 divided by 3 and get 20 inches. So, Deb can cut 20 3-inch long pieces from a 5-foot long board.
