Why did japan attack the u.s. at pearl harbor?

Answer:

i know it had to do something about the U.S. doing some embargoing i think

all i know is they felt threatened so they attacked a spot where they thought was the closes to the U.S. I'm not really sure im just trying my best, sorry if it was no help.

(to understand your enemy you must look into their perspective)

Because Japan and u.s wasn't agreeing with these and they went into war
