During the renaissance, Copernicus contributed to the "Copernican Revolution" and suggested the radical notion that the earth was not the center of the universe. He then said that the Sun was the center of the Earth. One book explaining his theory was " On the revolution of the Celestial Spheres" talking about his theory abot the center of the Uneiverse. Earth was the center of lunar sphere and gravity.
