The distance between two points knowing theirs coordinates:

AB =√[(x₂-x₁)² +(y₂-y₁)²]; ===>A(5,-4) & B(-3,-1) Given
A(x₁,y₁) & B(x₂,y₂)

AB =√[(-3-5))²+(-1-(-4)²] =√(73) = 8.381 ≈ 5.44 units
