Trauma. Or more specifically, she could be suffering from PTSD, as she witnessed three people dying. (If you include the killer). PTSD is post traumatic stress disorder, and its caused by experiencing a terrifying event. Which includes this situation. Symptoms of PTSD include nightmares, uncontrollable thoughts about the event, flashbacks, and severe anxiety.
