2/3 is the same as 8/12 is 8/12+1/12 is 9/12 which is also 3/4 or 45 mins

All we're doing is working with fractions.
2/3 is the equivalent of 8/12.
So if we add the fraction 8/12 and 1/12, we should get 9/12.
If the problem asks you to simplify, the answer is 3/4.
So yeah, 45 minutes is the answer.
