What is the connection between women being citizens without the right to vote and sitting in a row boat without any roars

The connection between these two subject matters is that both are technically in the so called "boat" and get to see were it goes but the women both do not have a say in which direction the boat goes or who is our next president and or political candidate.They both do not have a choice in which the headed direction is but still have an opinion about it but cannot voice it.
