osh is assigned a project in class to make a design a strand of m-RNA from DNA.The DNA code that he has been assigned is CGG TCG AGT GAT. What would be the correct code for Josh to use in his transcription?

GCC AGC UCA CUA
The u stands for uracil which is the replacement for thymine in RNA. Hope this help. ;)

mRNA does not have Thymine,T, instead has Uracil, U. Cytosine, C base pairs with Guanine, G and adenine, A base pairs with Uracil, U. Only in DNA adenine base pairs with uracil.

Given the DNA sequence the mRNA sequence will be:

DNA: CGG TCG AGT GAT

RNA: GCC AGC UCA CUA
