Describe the mechanisms of ventilation that allow your lungs to exchange gases with the environment.

The bronchioles in your lungs fill up with air from the environment, O2 from the air is absorbed into the blood and CO2 in the blood is let out, like a swap. Then you exhale out the CO2 (O2 is oxygen, CO2 is carbon dioxide)
