There would be 12 peanuts left in the bag. First, Elliot take 1/4 or 25 percent from the bag which is 8 peanuts, and so the bag have 24 peanuts left. Next, zaire take 1/2 or 50 percent of the remaining which is 12, so the bag now have 12 peanuts left that remained in the bag. Hope it help!
