2 4/6 feet of gold ribbon.How much more sliver ribbon does Gina have than gold ribbon. Please explain to me.

when you convert each type of ribbon to a bigger fraction, you get 32/6 feet of silver ribbon by multiplying the denominator by the whole number then adding the numerator. you also get 16/6 feet of gold ribbon. 32-16=16 so Gina has 16 more feet of silver ribbon than gold
