The GCF of 20y⁹ + 5y⁶ is
5y⁶
.
The factors of 20y^9 are 2(x2) 5, and y(x9).
The factors of 5y^6 are 5 and y(x6).
The factors they share are 5 and six y's, so the GCF is 5y^6.
