The population of predators would decrease since they had nothing to eat they would starve and die so the answer is B.

Food web describes an interconnected network of food chain, where transfer of energy takes place among different organisms within an ecosystem.

Predators are primarily the wild animals that capture, kill, and consume other animals ( called prey) for obtaining energy ( that is as a source of food). If prey are removed from a food web, food source for predator will be reduced, causing a decline in the population of predators within food web.
