How do spermatogenesis and oogenesis differ in terms of the number of gametes they produce?

spermatogenesis produces 4 sperms , while oogenesis producers 1 ova and 3 polar bodies which the ova absorbs later

Spermatogenesis produces four gametes, while oogenesis produces one with two to three polar bodies left over. because oocytes contain not only genetic material but also mitochondria.
