Answer: is less dense than cold water

has lower salinity than cold water

The warm water will be less denser than the cold water. The cold water being more denser sinks at the bottom of the pole and it moves towards the equator. The warm water remains at the surface of ocean. It exhibit very low salinity as compared to cold water.
