The formula of the volume of a cylinder is:
pie × r squared × h

hence substitute radius(r) and height(h) into the formula

3.14 × 5 squared × 8
= 3.14 x 25 x 8
= 628 cubic feet

V cylinder = pi * r^2 * h
V = 3.14 * 5^2 * 8
