The Kuroshio Current is the largest current in the Pacific Ocean.

The Kuroshio current is a strong, surface northeasterly flowing ocean current on the western side of the North Pacific Ocean. It is the largest current in the Pacific Ocean. It starts off from the east coast of Luzon of the Philippines, and flows northeastward past Japan. The Kuroshio water has a relatively high temperature (about 20° C) and salinity (34.5 parts per thousand).
