How would the increase in temperature affect the number of microstates available to a system?

It is observed that the temperature is a factor that affects the number of microstates in the system. In addition, the kinetic energy of the system is directly proportional to temperature thus it increases. The increase in kinetic energy would now make the movement of the molecules becomes faster.
