Every day, Katie looks for seashells on the beach. She has 28 shells in her collection. Katie finds 12 more shells each day. Write an inequality to determine the number of days, d, it will take Katie to collect over 100 shells.

It will take her about 7 days, because :
12*7=84
84+28= 112
112= +100

Inequality: 28 + 12d ≥ 100

Where, d = Number of Days.

Solving: Subtract 28 from both sides,
12d ≥ 72

Divide both sides by 12,
d ≥ 6

In short, Your Answer would be: At-least 6 days
