x+y+z = 180
y + y + 60 = 180
2y = 180 - 60
2y = 120
y = 120 ÷ 2
y = 60°

Well from my perspective, this looks like an equilateral triangle. Thus being said, an equilateral triangle has 3 equal sides and 3 equal angles. So that means the value of y is
60 degrees
.
