Why do plants have a greater disadvantage in unpredictable environments than animals?

A. Animals are able to seek shelter. Plants are unable to move.
B. Animals are able to adapt. Plants cannot develop adaptations.
C. Animals do not need water. Plants rely on water.

I would say that the answer is A.

B is false because plants also adapt.
C is false because animals need water too.
D is false because plants go through photosynthesis, and that is where they get most nutrients.
