let's say the numbers are "a" and "b"

so.. hmmm let's say "b" is the bigger one.... so is "4 more than" "a" then

thus b = a + 4

we know their product is 480, thus a*b or ab = 480

thus
\bf \begin{cases} \boxed{b}=a+4\\ ab=480\\ ----------\\ a\left( \boxed{a+4} \right)=480 \end{cases}

solve for "a"

what's b? well, b = a + 4
