Technology and science are in very many occasions used interchangeably. The main goal of science is to pursue knowledge for its own sake. The goal of technology, on the other hand is to create products that solve problems and improve human life. It is there to ease our lives. To put it into simple terms, technology is the practical application of science. Technology is not by itself a goal, but a byproduct of scientific process.
