20 rows * 25 chairs=500 chairs
500-5=495
Answer=495

the answer is 495 chairs. this is because the 20 rows x 25 chairs in each row=500 total chairs. if they were 5 shorts you have to subtract 5 from 500 which is 495 chairs.
