3(2x - 5) =
WHY?
Distributive property.
You should multiply the outer number to each of the values inside ( and ). So that's 3 multiplied by 2x and 3 multiplied by 5. That's 6x-15.

you multiply what outside the parenthesis l to whats inside the parenthesis and you will get 10x + 15
