At the heart of the new legitimacy of parties, and their forthright celebration of democracy was the the dramatic expansion of voting rights for white men. that's all i know about this question

The changes made in the early 1800s allowed people who had no money or land (only white men) to go and vote. As a result, more white men than ever before were able to vote.
