Is the flower clematis pitcheri (purple leatherflower) monocot or dicot and what are some characteristics of the plant that can prove that? Please help this is due today

It's a eudicot. You can see the leaf veins are branched. Monocots have parallel venation. If I could see the flower parts, you could see multiples of 4 or 5 as well.
