x= 8
3x8=24
24-3=21
X is 8 because 8 x 3 is 24 then minus the three and it equals 21

1 Add 3 to both sides
3x=21+3
2 Simplify 21+3 to
24
3x=24
3 Divide both sides by
3
x = 24/3
4 Simplify
24/3
to
8
x = 8
So, your answer is x = 8.
