x=width
(2x+5)=length
x(2x+5)=403
2x^2-5x-403=0
2x^2+26x-31x-403=0
2x(x+13)-31(x+13)=0
(x+13)(2x-31)=0
x=-13 or x=31/2
Since, our number cannot be negative, x=31/2
