HELP PLEASE A car dealership has 64 vehicles on its lot.

Of the total, one fourth are pickup trucks, and there are twice as many cars as there are SUVs.
How many of each type of vehicle are on the lot? You can use reasoning to solve the problem.

To find this answer, you can make the whole number, 64, a fraction.
64/1 divided by 1/4.
This would give you 256.

Answer:

Pickup trucks 1/4 = 25%

25% of 64 cars = 16 Pickup trucks

Leaving us with 48 cars left.

"twice as many cars as there are SUVs."

32 = cars

16 = SUVs
